AECT Standard 2:
Content Pedagogy

"Candidates develop as reflective practitioners able to demonstrate effective implementation of educational technologies and processes based on contemporary content and pedagogy" (AECT, 2012).

Artifacts demonstrating achievement of AECT Standard 2:  Content Pedagogy:

Prototype of Instructional Module:
Four Audiences

The Four Audience Instructional Module Prototype was created in Fall 2020 for EDET 722 and was my first introduction to the Morrison, Ross, and Kemp (2013) instructional design process. The purpose of this artifact was to create a self-guided instructional module in PowerPoint.  The prototype was the culminating product for EDET 722 and was based on the application of the Morrison, Ross, and Kemp instructional design process to familiar content.  The prototype was used as a learning module for colleagues at SCCMS.

Canvas Course:
Developing Proportional Reasoning

The Developing Proportional Reasoning Canvas Course was created using Canvas in Spring 2022 for EDET 755. The course combined knowledge of content and pedagogy to develop a professional learning course for teachers of mathematics. The purpose of this artifact was to apply knowledge of online learning to create a multi-module course in Canvas. This course was the culminating project for EDET 755 and represents learning across multiple modules.
